Sleep

Keila doesn't seem to want to sleep as of late. Well, she goes on spurts of not wanting to sleep hardly at all during the day. It is frustrating for me...and not good for her! She already took a pretty good nap today, but needs another one. Maybe she will fall asleep when I drive to my friends house!

Fireworks

Ugh! I love them; however, I do not love the bombs that people make with them. I never have, and I think they are the dumbest most boring thing. People in my neighborhood are setting off fireworks already and tonight have chosen to set off 2 bombs. Keila has woken up with each bomb....luckily has gone right back to sleep. Today has not been the best day though, so I am annoyed and emotional. So what is an annoyed emotional mother of a nine month old to do? Call the cops of course! So I did. I have never called the cops before. It's just that Keila has been sooooo cranky today with her new tooth she is getting. If she were to wake up and not go back to sleep, I would go crazy! Jared is still in Eugene visiting a friend, which I am glad he could go do today, but that means I am home alone with Keila and Paislie...both of who are sleeping right now...finally! I hope a cop will drive around the neighborhood and scare whoever was doing it to not do it again. Seriously people, don't piss me off!! Haha!

Trying new foods

So since Keila can eat more types of food now...or attempt to...I have been letting her try some of what I am eating. It is fun to watch her facial expressions if it is tart or doesn't taste good. She has tried Cantalope, Watermelon and spaghetti noodles the past couple of days, and did well eating all of it and liked them. I am excited that she is able to start trying new things and have real people food!

Oh and Keila has been starting to say Dada! She started saying it more clearly today though...and also was saying Ga-ga. So she now says, Mom mom, na-na, bob bob, mmbop, dada, ga-ga and whatever else comes out of her mouth!

What's new?

Keila is rolling around all over the place. She hasn't gotten the crawling thing down, but can roll from one side of the room to the other pretty fast. She has also been very cranky and not sleeping the past couple of days...not fun! That's all I can think of right now. Not a very fun post, but I am so tired from waking up through the night.

Psycho Dreams!

I am having the weirdest dreams!!! I wonder if it is because of the heat. Even if I wake up from the dream, I go back to sleep and then continue it or start some equally weird dream...and they have all been scary types! I have definitely been saying my prayers because I do believe that the Devil will use any means necessary to get to you. They are just so random! Maybe I'm pregnant again or something...lol. NOT!! I know I'm not. Just makes me think of when I was pregnant and had the weirdest dreams ever, but I don't remember them being scary-weird. Anyhoo, just thought I would share that I am having weird dreams. Have any of you had weird dreams lately?

Oh! And I am so jealous that there has been Thunder and Lightening (did I spell that right?) in Eugene! I love those types of storms! We have just been really muggy here, a little cloudy, a little sunny, some sprinkles here and there but nothing horrible. We are in for a bad summer though! If it is already like this now, I do not want to know what it will be like next month and in August! My poor neighbor is pregnant right now too...she looks like she could be 5 or 6 months along. I should ask her. Maybe she is due around the same time Keila was last year.
