Lia Sophia

So I am FINALLY going to start selling Lia Sophia jewelry. My friend Jessica has been selling it for a couple of years, and I have thought about doing it since I first had a party for her. There was always something that hindered me from doing it. This seems to be an okay time to try it out! It is really cool and very cute jewelry. It has lifetime warranty and is good quality! They have different deals each month so you usually don't have to pay full price for jewelry if you buy a few pieces or more. For example, the month of April had a deal of buy 2 get 4 at half price...the most expensive pieces are always half off. I am having my party on April 26th at 3:00. I will try to send out as many invites as I can. If you think you would be interested in going, leave a comment! Or if you can't go, but would like to check out the jewelry check out my friends website: www.liasophia.com/jessica. If you want to purchase something, write down the information and email it to me...leah.mlynczyk@yahoo.com. Let me know what you think!

I'm home and Congrats!

I made it home safely from my trip! Last night was no fun though. My flight from St Louis to Denver was delayed by an hour, and then we sat on the little plane for 30-40 minutes with no air waiting for whatever they were doing. Keila was getting cranky and we were all getting sweaty. Then because I knew I was barely going to make my flight if we left before sitting on the plane for that long, I broke down and started crying. I didn't want to miss my next flight and stay overnight in Denver! Plus, Keila was getting so agitated and started crying, and I was sitting next to this really weird guy...(I was able to switch to an open row I spotted after we took off.) After I fed Keila to get her to stop crying, She did really well and fell asleep, so I was able to read during the rest of the flight. I was also praying that the next flight would be delayed even more than was. We neared Denver, and I asked what time it was to see if I might make my flight...I had about 20 minutes and we had just started our final descent...that means I wouldn't make it.

My next flight to Portland was supposed to leave at 9:53, and when we landed it was 10:00 or so. I was texting my mom and Jared and telling them what was going on. They were trying to check the status of my flight and were telling me different things about it. I heard that it should already be out on the runway, and then I heard it just got delayed until 10:45. I decided to call Jared and ask him because I was so confused! When I finally got off the plane, I went to the desk outside of our gate, and asked the guy about my flight. At first he said it was gone, and then he said, "Oh, no. It's still here. Gate 22 leaving at 10:45. I will call them and tell them you are your way." I couldn't believe it! I was 60 gates away from making my flight going home!!! AND, my prayers were answered!!! Thank you Jesus!

Now all I had in front of me was a REALLY long walk from gate 82 to gate 22. I was so glad that this airport had those moving walking things because it helped a lot! I made it to the gate with them half-way through seating people and almost out of breath. Plus, this next flight was a lot bigger and had more room. Also, I had to pee so bad!! I had to wait until we took off though. Keila also needed a new diaper and to be fed, so I went ahead and fed her before take-off and changed her after I went to the bathroom. I was so glad to be on my way home and to see Jared.

Everything about my trip was fun. I saw a lot of family and relaxed. I can now say that I have been to 18 states...I thought it would just be 17, but we drove through Illinois to get to Missouri, so it's 18!

On a happy happy note, my cousin and his wife just had their baby over the weekend! It was a girl who they named Hazel May. I can't wait to see her!

What's new?!

Well, my team lost their games at the state tourney...so that means they tied for 7th. They could've done so much better, but they didn't seem to find it within themselves to win. Oh well, we will work hard in the 'off-season' to try and make it back next year.

Keila is doing great. She is cutting her 2nd tooth...I think it might finally be through the top. It is her 2nd bottom tooth! She has been more cranky the past few days because of the tooth, so I am ready for her to be more happy again. She also has had her first and second plane rides yesterday! We flew to visit my mom, and this weekend we are driving to visit family in Missouri whom I haven't seen in a loooong time! I am excited! I missed my moms dogs and it has been fun seeing them again. The only thing I hate is that they bark when they think someone is outside...and most of the time there is no one. They just woke up Keila!

4A State Tournament

Well, our basketball team made it to the state tournament!! They play on Thursday against a team that we have already played and beaten, so hopefully we will beat them again! It is very exciting to be a part of this and to see the girls having so much fun. Keila is their #1 fan!! Haha. Our friend Liz, made a little shirt for her to wear for the games. She wore it for the last game, so I need to wash it for the next game. Her tooth is breaking through even more, and I am pretty sure she is growing...she is sleeping so much lately!! Oh, and she finally rolled over! She isn't on her tummy that often, but the other day I put her on her tummy and she kept rolling over! Now whenever I put her on her tummy, she rolls over. So much for tryig to get her to crawl or something...all in good time, right?!

Sick

So, being sick and having a child do not go together. I have had some sort of cold for the past week or so, and today I woke up and it was worse. No fun! It wouldn't be as bad if I wasn't nursing because then I could take whatever kind of medication I wanted. I am glad; however, that she has been sleeping for about 10 hours at night because I can take NyQuil after I put her to bed. I just have a lot of nasal congestion...I have a humidifier that I might put in our room tonight to see if that will help. Keila seems to be doing ok and hopefully not getting sick. She has had a little more of a cough lately, but I wonder if she is kind of just copying me and my coughing. She hasn't been running a fever or anything, but I am keeping a close eye on her to make sure she doesn't start to.

Oh, on a different note, Jared and I are going to the Oregon Jamboree this summer. It should be a lot of fun. Thank you Chris and Judy for letting us buy tickets with you!

It's a....Tooth!

Keila is getting her first tooth! It started poking through today. I wonder how long it will take to come in all the way! Oh, how they grow so fast!
