31 Weeks

La dee da...time is going by sooo slow! I feel like this last trimester is crawling along. Maybe it's a good thing because it will allow time for us to be completely ready...maybe...but I want to be done and meet her! We definitely need more time to finish her room and finish our house for that matter. We bought a crib yesterday at Big Lots...very good price for a pretty good crib. Here is a picture I found on the internet...some model lady is in the picture:


Now all we need is a dresser. And a bassinet and some other things. There is so much baby stuff to get!

Oh so Tired

I don't feel like I can get enough rest lately. I wake up in the morning feeling okay, but during the day I feel so tired! It didn't help that I made cookies today, and then when I was done making cookies, I made dinner. My feet hurt, and I was so exhausted! I sat down with my plate of food and told Jared he was doing the dishes. He normally offers to do them anyway, but I told/asked him to do them before he could offer. I have been in the recliner since dinner...getting up to do a few things, but I think I will be going to sleep any second.

Also, the once cute hiccups that I felt the baby having, are now annoying because they last longer then they used to. She is also moving around and some days I think she is doing ok and possibly head down, and other days she is definitely breech. I also think I have a couple bruised ribs...or something like that. I need to talk to my Doctor about it this week. I know that pregnant women always have pain in their ribs, but with my deformity I think I am worrying or just not sure if what I feel is the same as everyone else.

Ugh, she's moving on my bladder...I need to pee.

3 Years and 30 Weeks

So tomorrow is the big day! Jared and I will have been for 3 years and my pregnancy will have only 10 weeks left! Since we are going out of town for our anniversary, I decided to post today. I think we are taking our computers with us, but who knows if I will go on the internet at all. Jared has some homework assignments due this week, so that is why he is taking his computer. It seems crazy that July is almost over! Jared starts reporting to school on August 13th, so that is only a few weeks away. Paislie is going to stay home and a high school kid is going to come over and let her out and play with her...he is the son of a teacher who Jared will be working with. Actually, they both came over last night so we could show them stuff. The high schooler actually has a beard and mustache...Paislie has never seen that before. So when she ran out her kennel, she was excited to see the new people until she looked up and saw him...she froze and her tail went between her legs. We were all laughing so hard! Jared and I expected her to jump all over him like she normally does. Instead I had to sit with her on the floor and show her that he was okay. It took her about 5-10 minutes to warm up to him and then she was okay. They were best buds by the time they left. I wonder if she will remember him tonight when he comes to let her out.

The baby shower was really fun this weekend! Thank you to everyone who came and has sent gifts! She will definitely be the cutest dressed baby there is! She has been moving around frequently throughout the day so that is good. Well, except for this morning...she must be sleeping. I hate it when she doesn't move for a while because then I get worried...even though I am sure she is just fine. Last night I had a dream that she stuck her hand up and I could see it through my belly...fingers and all. Weird, I know.

Anyway, we are going to the coast for a few days! I hope the weather is nice so we can take a walk on the beach. We are also going to an outlet mall...it has really good stores too! Last night I checked which stores were there, and it made me mad that I am pregnant because I can't buy regular clothes! There are some good kids stores though...I guess that is our life now though! Yay for babies!

29 Weeks

So the past few days I have gotten heartburn. I really don't like getting it every day. That's about the only thing new this week...other than the belly button thing. She has been moving around like normal. I had a lot of water to drink with dinner last night (we were in Eugene) and then on the drive home Jared actually had to stop because I had to go to the bathroom...I even went right before we left. And then when we got home, I had to go to the bathroom again. Oh the joys of having a baby right next to your bladder.

So I am laying in bed...or am I lying in bed...never could remember the proper way to say that (Holly would know). Anyway, I am in bed looking at my belly and noticing that my belly button has gotten a little less deep and is very small. I think it is helping that I had a deep inward belly button before I was pregnant because if I didn't, it would probably be sticking out by now. My poor belly button is being ruined! I hope it goes back to normal or almost normal. It may be weird, but I actually really liked my belly button before.

Today we drove to Eugene so Jared could play golf with his friend. While they were doing that, I went to a few different stores and ate Pita Pit! I love that place! I think they finally switched to a better caesar sauce...I couldn't tell if it was the same sauce that they used to have or they got yet another caesar sauce. To fill you in on my sorrows, earlier this year they switched the caesar sauce and the new kind was really gross. It tasted sour and like it was rotten or something...anyway I asked about it one time, and to me it sounded like a lot of people complained. So today when I got it, the sauce tasted like it used to, or at least better than the last time I had it! I was so pleased with my pita! It tasted of sweetness and wonderful sensations!...okay, you all think I am weird by now but that is okay! If you have never had Pita Pit, you should try it and then you will know what I am talking about:).

Oh and I received a complaint from Jared that I did not mention on the poll that his Birthday is October 1st...the Due Date for my pregnancy. I didn't put it on there because I think I already said his birthday was the due date before. Anyway, it wouldn't let me edit the poll, so I am telling you here.

Did I tell you...

-That it is freaking hot?!!

-That I wish we had A/C again?!

-That I just bought some really cute clothes?

-That it is cool to only have 12 weeks left in my pregnancy?!

-That my dog is starting to behave better...slowly?!

-That my house is still not finished?

Last but not least...

-That we finally decided on a name! I can't wait until she is born to let you all know what her name is and to meet her!

28 Weeks

This week she has moved a lot more! I have been able to really feel where she is at and watch her wriggle around. I have been trying really hard to stay hydrated and keep everything good for the baby. It has been so hot lately! Today I had to do a glucose test to make sure I don't have gestational diabetes...I felt like I got a headache because all I had in my system was that sugar drink. It didn't taste as bad as people told me it did, so that wasn't too bad.

Jared has to report to the middle school in about a month. It seems like time is going by fast. It will probably only go faster now that I have 12 weeks left of my pregnancy...less if she comes early, which I think she will.

Happy 4th!

We went to the Molalla Bucharoo Rodeo tonight for the fourth of July. It was a pretty good show...watching bucking broncos and bulls, barrel racing, and other events that I can't remember the technical names for. There was also a firework show...probably the weakest show I have seen at a public event. I mean it had the big really cool fireworks, but there were long pauses inbetween them and it didn't even last that long. Maybe they didn't do a very big show because they are doing fireworks almost every night of the rodeo. I am surprised by how many illegal fireworks I have seen. For a small town you would think people wouldn't light them off because there is a police department here. Maybe the cops like watching them too...haha.

27 Weeks

So today marks the first day of week 27 and also the third trimester. I am 2/3's of the way done with my pregnancy...Hooray! The past week she has been moving around a lot more, so that makes me happy. When I find my camera cords to download my pics on the computer, I will post more. Our office stuff is still packed up because we don't have a desk right now. Actually, a lot of stuff is still packed up. The heat makes me want to just sit and relax more than anything.

This past weekend we went camping with Jared's brother. His parents came for one of the nights too. We were staying at a campground by a river, so the water was freezing and running too high to swim. We decided to drive to a lake for one of the days so we could have fun and swim. I wouldn't mind going swimming more often because I think it would be good exercise for me right now...and fun:) Maybe Jared would go with me down to the pool that we have in town. I need to look into how much it costs though.
